So precious, charming, and yet serious bit of film of history
Hilarious, I loved it. I do believe, if memory serves, the our gang series continued with sound movies. And I loved how the treatment and dignity of african american child character in a film in an era in US history which was overwhelmingly a time of ethnic oppression and discrimination which was lazily and cruelly accepted as "that's just the way it is..."

Long lost piece of film history is also very good
The very first Our Gang/Little Rascals film ever made (but the 3rd to be publicly released) has been lost for many years and a subject of curiosity for film historians, but about half if it has been found and is shown here. Even without some footage, this is an amusing story of a crooked storeowner trying to ruin a female competitor and the Gang's efforts to help out. Lots of clever gags (especially the mad dog and the wheelchair). A great look at what was to come!
